About Us

The Tech Foundation Academy is a primary education complex, located in Plumkor, Brewerville city. The primary objective of establishing the Tech Foundation Academy (TFA) is to provide a supportive primary educational environment that uses Information and Communication Technology as a tool in providing a solid academic foundation from preschool to grade six.

To bring this idea to fruition, we invested resources into constructing a primary educational complex where the learning process is Information Technology driven.  It is our desire that the Tech Foundation Academy environment will facilitate the learning process and promote our early childhood learning objectives.

The primary education team is recruiting teachers for all subjects from Daycare to Kindergarten.   Teachers with knowledge in the various primary education subjects are encouraged to apply.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide responsible care for children
• Treat all children with care and compassion
• Uphold all safety standards
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly classroom
• Maintain a professional attitude, respecting family privacy at all times
• Provide a positive meal time for the children while encourage them to try new things
• Assist with coordinating enriching educational activities
• Lead songs and learning exercises
• Provide structure and accountability in a compassionate fashion
• Help change children diapers as needed
• Engage with the children in educational, age-appropriate activities
• Encourage children to participate in all activities
• Help children to develop affection and feeling for others in the classroom as appropriate
• Contact administration to engage parents as needed to address challenges
• Provide many opportunities for children to learn and develop age-appropriate skills
• Complete cleaning tasks to ensure the classroom is sanitised.
• Design and follow a complete teaching plan
• Teach alphabet and numeracy along with personal, social and emotional skills
• Organise learning material and resources
• Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, structured games, art, outdoor activities etc) to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities
• Ensure tasks are completed in accordance with school’s policy, Ministry of Education guidelines for primary schools and applicable statutes.
• Perform other assigned task.

Requirements and Qualifications

• 20 years and above
• 2 years of daycare work experience
• C, B or A Certificates
• Certification in early childcare or degree in childhood development is an advantage
• Be physically able to perform tasks, including sitting with kids, bending, and standing
• Willing to sing and dance with the children
• Successful candidates will be subjected to background check and provision of appropriate clearances.

Chosen Candidates will be required to successfully complete computer applications refresher training provided by Tech Foundation Academy to work in the e-learning programs and TFA Administration System before starting work.
