TFA’s Faculty and Support Staff
IT Professional and Teacher with over twenty-five years of experience. He has devoted more than 15 of those 25 years to teaching Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, and Accounting courses at Universities in Monrovia (University of Liberia, Starz College, now Starz University, Blue Crest University College, United Methodist University, and the African Methodist Episcopal University). Mr. Nyain has a passion for education and teaching. This has been the motivation behind his involvement in establishing educational institutions.
Mr. Nyain is presently a volunteer teacher at Tech Foundation Academy. He teaches Social Studies, Science, Introduction to Blended Learning, and English.
Wendell Lator Nyain brings a lot to Tech Foundation Academy in the areas of computer Help Desk Support and Web Programming. At age 9, Wendell started developing his capacities in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from home by supporting his dad in some of his ICT projects.
Mr. Nyain graduated from the Light International School System and has the following professional development qualifications: Diploma – ICT in Education, Certificates in HTML Coding, CSS, and JavaScript Programming, Certificate in Instructional Planning for Successful Teaching, Certificate in Working with Students with Special Educational Needs, Diploma in Teaching Skills for Educators.
Miss Inez B. Nyain is innovative and has always had a passion for teaching. She has worked with pre-school and kindergarten students in a few international schools. She has invested interest in students with special needs.
Miss Nyain has the following qualifications: Diploma in Educational Institution Management, Diploma in Teaching Skills for Educators, Diploma in Teaching Students with Learning Disabilities, Diploma in Educational Psychology, Certificate in Leadership and Team Work, and BBA in Accounting from the African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU), Liberia.
Mrs. Ruth O. Nyain worked in the educational sector for over ten years. She served as Chairperson of the Secretarial Science Department of the International College of Business and Technology before its closure. While serving in the capacity as chairperson for the Secretarial Science Department, she was actively involved in teaching required secretarial science and management courses at tertiary levels in a few colleges. Mrs. Nyain has a passion for education and teaching. The desire to promote early learning foundations in education is a factor that connects her to the establishment of the Tech Foundation Academy.
Mrs. Nyain holds the following qualifications: An Associate Degree in Secretarial Science from the Lincoln College of Professional Studies, a BBA in Management from the United Methodist University, and a Master's in Education (M.Ed.) with emphasis in Education Administration from the Cuttington University Graduate School.
